Libs across Florida are organizing or participating in protests and teach-ins on the situation in Iran.
Minutes after the election announcement Libertarians in Pinellas, Key West and elsewhere were holding signs on streets, contacting legislators, and organizing events, prompting WTAN to wonder where the conservatives and progressives were.
Members of the Iran Libertarian Citizen! Club of the LIO expressed gratitude at the Florida Libertarians prompt action, and encouraged Americans to get involved in Sister City projects with Iranian towns to support "long term change."

According to the article: "I don't think Iranians will forget this. As Imam Hossein taught them, they will not stand for injustice," Samak.
Regardless of their nationality, protesters say they will continue on Neda's path.
Chris Jones, a Ph.D. student at the University of South Florida came to the event to support his Iranian friend.
"I am a libertarian and I think that everybody should be free," Jones said."Let's hope that this is a wake up call for everybody and that things will change in Iran and other countries."
